As FESA’s Co-Chairs, it is their responsibility to ensure the overall function of FESA. Together, they organize executive and general council meetings; oversee all activities, philanthropic event, and functions of FESA; and ensure that the constitution is upheld in all regards.
About Ryan Furlong
Ryan Furlong comes from a small rural town in Newfoundland and moved to Ottawa in 2012 to study in FLS and Linguistics at uOttawa. Since his first year he has been heavily involved in student life on campus and is very excited to be elected as the Year One Co-Chair on this year’s FESA exec. He is currently studying in the intermediate/senior division, with aspirations to become a French and History teacher. Ryan looks forward to an exciting year, providing the best services possible to Faculty of Education students.
About James McClelland
James McClelland is a second year education student and is part of the global cohort. He studied English Literature and Geography during his undergrad at uOttawa, and completed grad school at Trent University with research focused upon Jack Kerouac and the Beat Generation. He has worked abroad in both France and Peru, and hopes to secure a teaching position in Spain following his graduation. His interests include agriculture, language, distance running and cooking.
